Now the concept for the new national exhibition is ready
Switzerland is the only European country with a long-standing tradition of hosting a national exhibition. The ten largest Swiss cities are now presenting their concept through the «Nexpo – the new Expo» initiative.
Last year, it became clear that the majority of Swiss people were in favor of holding a new national exhibition. (advertisingweek.ch reported). Now Nexpo presents for the first time its concept for the new "Landi", which aims to improve the cohesion of the different regions and promote the discovery of unknown parts of the country.
Never before has there been a national exhibition that takes place throughout Switzerland. Nexpo - the new Expo wants to dare this step - in the cities, in the countryside and in the mountains. Nexpo is to be sustainable, future-oriented and decentralized. It is to offer a broad population a variety of experiences on the theme of living together in the 21st century. It presents a Switzerland that addresses the current issues of its time, overcomes divides and strengthens national cohesion.
In recent months, the creative team has finalized its innovative concept, which connects different localities from the four language regions. On May 15, Nexpo will present to the public how it works and how it breaks new ground in terms of sustainability and participation.
