James Rizzi at Europapark

EXHIBITION Colorful motifs from the Big Apple, original furniture from the New York studio and two world premieres - the exhibition by pop artist James Rizzi opened at Europapark in Rust."James Rizzi has a distinctive visual language. His works fit wonderfully here," said Europa Park owner Roland Mack at the opening in Mercedes-Benz Hall. The pop artist, who died in 2011, loved roller coasters and also painted many pictures of theme parks and made roller coaster graphics of Coney Island. Through January 10, 2016, visitors to the winter exhibit can immerse themselves in an interactive James Rizzi world with plenty of curious and entertaining details for the whole family to discover. A large cab photo installation allows visitors to take their own picture in a Rizzi cab. The highlight of the winter exhibition is the huge, recreated 3D Rizzi house backdrop, which has never been exhibited anywhere before in this dimension (5 x 10 meters). In addition, two of the artist's Bible and stained glass window designs will be on display prior to their official publication in 2016.
