"A tribute to the affiche artists"
Icy toes, lips tinged with a delicate blue, tempting Berliner doughnuts, charred Wiediker sausages, and beaming faces—why would anyone even bother to attend an outdoor celebration in such unpleasant weather? Werbewoche.ch has addressed this and other questions surrounding the annual APG Hoffäscht.
What the video is talking about:
The APG SGA Hoffest highlights the work of the afficheurs, who work in all weather conditions. The idea was born in 2003 during the renovation of the current APG building. Originally planned as a customer event inside the building, the festival met with so much interest that it was quickly moved outside.
Memories of the first edition are characterized by icy temperatures of minus 20 to minus 25 degrees, with glasses even shattering as they were filled with hot punch. In the meantime, the Hoffest has become a permanent fixture despite the mostly chilly and nasty weather, and the number of participants is impressive.
The guests' clothing reveals who already has experience with the Hoffest - well-packaged people have often already taken part in previous editions.
The positive atmosphere at the Hoffest helps to strengthen customer relationships. Visitors not only enjoy the festive atmosphere, but also the delicious doughnuts, which have become an integral part of the event, just like "Wiediker" and raclette. This year, Sandra is also being honored for her impressive 20th anniversary with the company, which provides another reason to celebrate.
