Echowerk for BikeSide MTB Festival Einsiedeln
From September 26 to 28, Einsiedeln will become the mecca of the Swiss mountain biking scene with the BikeSide MTB Festival. Echowerk is responsible for organizing the event.
As the first leaves change color and the morning sun bathes the meadows in golden light, the bike season slowly draws to a close. But before that, the grand finale is still to come: the BikeSide MTB Festival in Einsiedeln - the crowning finale of the Swiss mountain bike season.
From September 26 to 28, 2025, Einsiedeln will be transformed into the beating heart of the Swiss mountain bike world. The festival attracts bikers and fans from all over Switzerland and offers an action-packed program for all ages and skill levels.
Diverse program for all levels
Professional bikers are challenged on demanding marathon routes, while participants in the Easy Ride category enjoy a leisurely ride through the breathtaking mountain and lake landscape of the Einsiedeln-Alpthal-Rothenthurm region. For leisure cyclists, the E-MTB JOY RIDE offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the route without any time pressure.
Bike Village as a festival center
A lively bike village is being created in front of the imposing Einsiedeln Abbey - a hotspot for fans and families. Visitors can look forward to trial shows, a children's tractor race and the Wheelpark Family Zone with skill challenges and courses for the little ones. Various exhibitors will be presenting new products and exclusive offers from the world of bikes.
Season finale of the Bike Marathon Classics
The final race at BikeSide marks the grand finale of the Bike Marathon Classics. On the challenging 81-kilometre course with a total of 3,000 meters of elevation gain, top athletes such as Swiss rider Hansueli Stauffer, European champion Andreas Seewald from Germany and Belgian marathon champion Frans Claes will be battling it out for overall victory. Among the women, Swiss champion Irina Lützelschwab, runner-up Anna Weinbeer and Mallory Barth from Romande are the favorites.
"With the BikeSide MTB Festival, we want to maintain Einsiedeln as a permanent focal point for mountain bike enthusiasts and at the same time create an event that is attractive for the whole family and for young bikers," says Manuel Schaub, Managing Director of the marketing and event agency echowerk, which realizes the BikeSide in a joint venture with Datasport and with the support of the Iron Bike Race association.
