Easyfairs and Quickfairs join forces
This strategic acquisition adds two events to the Easyfairs portfolio: Coiltech in Italy and Coiltech in Germany, both of which serve niche industrial B2B communities.
International event organizer Easyfairs and Milan-based trade show organizer Quickfairs announce their partnership. Through the cooperation Easyfairs expands its portfolio with Coiltech, the internationally renowned trade fair for coil winding, and at the same time strengthens its position in Italy and Germany.
Quickfairs organizes two annual events, Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Germany, both specialized in materials and machinery for the design, manufacture, maintenance and repair of electric motors, generators, transformers and windings. Since its foundation in 2010, Coiltech has become the world's leading brand in its field. In 2023, the events brought together 473 exhibitors from 31 nations and 5,314 visitors from 60 countries in Augsburg, Germany, and Pordenone, Italy, both in the respective strongholds of the industry.
Since its inception in 2009, Quickfairs has developed an independent trade show format designed to structurally reduce the burden on exhibitors and provide an enhanced trade show experience. The existing event team is also expected to be responsible for future editions of Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Germany. Sebastian Kuester, founder and current managing partner of Quickfairs, will assume the role of CEO of the company as part of this partnership and will remain associated with the company through a shareholding in Easyfairs.
