From September 15 to 17, the Digital Festival and HackZurich 2023 will take place in Zurich-Oerlikon. The event will feature talks on topics such as AI, blockchain, and sustainability, as well as interactive demos and workshops.

From September 15 to 17, Hall 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon will become a center for innovation and technology. That's when the Digital Festival 2023 and HackZurich will take place, according to the organizers. The event is intended to provide insights into the future of digitization and bring together players in the industry.

International speakers will talk about topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, sustainable technologies and the future of work in panels and talks, according to the statement. In addition, Damir Bogdan of Quantum Basel and Cornelius Hempel of ETH Zurich will discuss quantum computing with other experts. There will also be contributions on the shortage of skilled workers and the urgency of cybersecurity.

In the Expo area of the festival, companies can present their solutions and innovations, as the organizers write. There will be interactive demos for visitors, for example at the booths of GoBugfree or the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Workshops will also offer the opportunity to learn new skills in various areas, including blockchain and AI. There will also be a series of networking events for companies, experts and investors.

"At the heart of digitalization lies not only technology, but the infinite capacity of the human mind to create new things and overcome boundaries. At the Digital Festival & HackZurich, we ignite the sparks of curiosity and shape the digital future together," says Ralph Roos, Head of Digital Festival & HackZurich.
