Cembra becomes Presenting Partner of the Swiss Music Awards
The Swiss Music Awards will celebrate their 19th edition on March 19, 2026, at Zurich’s Hallenstadion. For the first time, the awards ceremony will take place in March, with Swiss bank Cembra as the new presenting partner.

The Swiss Music Awards (SMA) have been a fixture on the Swiss music and culture scene for almost two decades. The 19th edition of Switzerland's biggest music awards ceremony will take place on March 19, 2026 in Zurich's Hallenstadion - the first time it has been held in March instead of May.
The award ceremony honors the most successful national and international artists and also offers promising newcomers a stage. With emotional acceptance speeches and spectacular live performances, the SMAs create an event that radiates far beyond the music scene.
CH Media is also involved as organizer and official host broadcaster in 2026. The show will be broadcast live on 3+ and the streaming service oneplus. "The Swiss Music Awards are one of the TV highlights of the year. Together with our broadcasters and oneplus, we are bringing Switzerland's biggest music awards ceremony to the public's living rooms and mobile screens," says Wolfgang Elsässer, Head of TV National at CH Media.
The Swiss bank Cembra is now on board as presenting partner. Andreas Schärer, Head of Marketing and Branding at Cembra, explains: "The Swiss Music Awards connect people across generations and genres - this diversity is a perfect fit for Cembra. We look forward to contributing to this unique live experience as Presenting Partner in 2026."
"The Swiss Music Awards are firmly anchored in the Swiss cultural and music landscape. After 18 successful editions, it's great to be back in the Hallenstadion Zurich in 2026 together with CH Media as a strong partner," adds Christoph Bürge, President of the Pressplay Association.
The live broadcast of the Swiss Music Awards 2026 will take place on March 19, 2026 at 8.15 p.m. exclusively on 3+ and the streaming service oneplus.
