BOE International: Further growth
With the expansion of the MICE segment, the BOE International in Dortmund strengthens its offer for trade fair visitors.

The BOE International trade fair for experiential marketing integrates the "mbt Meetingplace" of private organizer Bording. "MICE has seen strong growth at BOE over the past two years. With the 'mbt Meetingplace' we have an excellent format to further expand the exciting area of 'Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Exhibitions' at the trade fair location Dortmund," says Sabine Loos (pictured), Chief Executive Officer of the Westfalenhallen Group of Companies. The 'mbt Meetingplace' for hotels, congress centers, event locations, incentive providers and software manufacturers for participant registration, planned for November 2019, will now be directly integrated into the BOE International from January 16 - 17, 2020 at the Westfalenhallen, Dortmund.

The 'mbt Meetingplace' expands the MICE offer of the BOE International on the DACH market. Competitors in the international sector are IMEX with locations in Frankfurt or Las Vegas and IBTM. These address international business tourism. This division - leading trade fairs for the global market, regional trade fairs for the national market - has proven successful for trade fairs. So far, 550 exhibitors from the event and trade fair construction sectors have come to BOE International each year.
An attractive program of lectures on topics relating to digitization, sustainability, event security and other practical tips will provide event planners with ideas and solutions for their day-to-day work. The main lecture stages are the Technology and Scenography Forum, the Safety and Security Forum, the MICE Forum, Acts on Stage and the Digital Forum.
The BOE International has continuously expanded its content spectrum in recent years. Now it consists of the core areas of experiential marketing, the 'mbt Meetingplace' and the Brand-Ex-Festival on the day before the fair, on January 15, 2010. The professional sponsor is the FAMAB Communications Association. With the expansion of the MICE segment, the BOE International will be further strengthened.
