Aroma designed and realized A.Vogel Museum

In June, the new A.Vogel Museum in Teufen, AR—designed and built by Aroma—opened its doors. The interactive exhibition invites visitors on a sensory journey of discovery.

The exhibition concept allows visitors to follow in the footsteps of company founder Alfred Vogel in a sensory way, gain insights into the work processes and values of A. Vogel and expand their knowledge of medicinal herbalism. Historical exhibits, personal stories and modern, scientific processes invite visitors to touch and discover numerous objects. "We stage the content in an eventful way and want to inspire visitors to be amazed through varied and multi-sensory experiences," explains Barbara Mutzbauer, Creative Director of Aroma.

Digital technologies are also used in a targeted manner: for example, the echinacea plants themselves explain - acoustically staged - why they are a powerful protective shield against illness. The A.Vogel brand and the values that the company's employees share and live by today can be discovered interactively and surprisingly.

The atmosphere in the museum should be approachable, inviting and friendly at the same time. All the illustrations for the individual applications were drawn by hand. In addition to the life and work of Alfred Vogel and the brand, an area of the museum is dedicated to herbal medicine - or phytotherapy. Here, visitors can collect knowledge by picking the description of their favorite plant, creating their own mini outdoor pharmacy to take with them into nature, their own garden or on hikes.
