Aroma stages tonhalleNIGHT 2026 as a cinematic narrative
On January 24, 2026, the creative agency Aroma will transform the Tonhalle Zürich into a cinematic stage for one evening. For approximately 400 guests in the orchestra section and additional guests strolling through the balcony and gallery, the agency is designing a dramatic customer journey through key areas of the historic venue.

On January 24, 2026, the Tonhalle Zurich will become the stage for an extraordinary production. Zurich-based creative agency Aroma is responsible for the concept and spatial design of tonhalleNIGHT 2026, the gala and fundraising event organized by the Tonhalle Society Zurich. The evening follows the leitmotif of film and combines architecture, music and staging to create a coherent narrative.
Dramaturgical journey through the Tonhalle
Around 400 people will be seated in the stalls, with additional guests moving around the balcony and gallery as so-called strolling guests. Central areas of the Tonhalle are used - from the entrance area to the vestibule and the concert foyer to the large hall.

At the heart of the design is a carefully conceived customer journey that brings the leitmotif of film to life step by step. Clearly defined scenographic elements and atmospheric spatial concepts guide guests through the evening. The aim is to offer not just one event, but a coherent evening with a dramaturgical arc of suspense - from arrival to the last moment in the large hall.

Emotional staging for a good cause
tonhalleNIGHT 2026 combines the architectural power of the building with a contemporary, emotional staging and creates a setting that does justice to the donation purpose as well as the special location.
