Tamedia in the French-speaking part of Switzerland: New Head of Communication

Patrick Matthey will become the new head of communications at Tamedia Publications romandes in Lausanne.

In his new role, Patrick Matthey reports directly to Tamedia's Head of Corporate Communications, Christoph Zimmer. He succeeds Sylvia Wuersten, who left the company at the end of September after seven years to take up a new professional challenge.

Patrick Matthey is 41 years old and was Head of Communications at Groupe Rouge (Rouge FM, Rouge TV, Yes fm) until the end of September. In 2008, he founded and developed the French-speaking Swiss TV station Rouge FM, which he headed for five years as managing director. Previously, he worked as a journalist BR at the group and was editor-in-chief of the radio stations Rouge FM, Radio Lac and Yes fm for ten years. From 1995 to 1997, he was project manager in the Corporate Communication department of Swiss Bank Corporation in Lausanne.
