Following the positive response to the launch, the second issue of the specialist magazine "pront." is now available. It focuses on a pressing issue: polarization and hatred in public debate and the question of how authorities can communicate when trust in democratic governments is waning. The magazine is supplemented by several guest articles with additional perspectives from practice and research.

Focus on communicative challenges

In its second edition, "pront." focuses on the communication challenges associated with spirals of outrage, digital echo chambers and coarse language. The focus is on the practical question: how can authorities remain understandable, capable of dialog and credible when fronts harden and the tone becomes harsher?

"I am experiencing how the tone of public debate has changed: faster, sharper, often more merciless. Hate and polarization are not simply 'diversity of opinion', but they narrow the space in which we can still listen to each other - and in which democracy can function," says Daniel Camenisch, editor of the magazine.

Orientation for authorities and administrative units

"pront." is published twice a year and is aimed specifically at public authorities and administrative units. The magazine offers orientation on current developments, practical examples and directly implementable tools for strategic communication and crisis communication in the public sector.

The magazine for effective communication with authorities is published on vinavant.ch/pront available for download.

Vinavant is the specialized agency for strategic communication and crisis communication at the interface of politics, business and society. Based in Landquart, the agency supports its clients from in-depth analysis and well thought-out concepts through to effective implementation.
