TV24 secures license option for "Ninja Warrior Switzerland

TV24 plans to produce the Swiss version of the globally successful show «Ninja Warrior» in 2018 and has agreed to a licensing option with the agency Dentsu. The action-packed entertainment show will be the Swiss broadcaster’s first in-house primetime production.

The sporting action game show "Ninja Warrior" originates from Japan and is already running successfully in numerous European countries. Including in Germany, Spain, France, Sweden and the UK. At the heart of the show is probably the toughest TV obstacle course in the world. After an audition, around 250 contestants are sent through the course in various preliminary rounds. Only the strongest and fastest candidates with the best stamina make it to the final. The title of "Ninja Warrior Switzerland" is awarded to the participant who can complete the entire course up to Mount Midoriyama in the fastest time.

"We are proud to have secured the license option for "Ninja Warrior Switzerland" until the end of November. Nina Havel and Maximilian Baumann host the TV show. In addition to regular engagements as a presenter, 36-year-old Nina Havel has also worked as a producer, lyricist and actress. She became known throughout Switzerland when she hosted the SRF production "Music Star". The 26-year-old Maximilian Baumann is the presenter of the Radio 24 Abig show, TV producer and event presenter. Maximilian has also appeared in front of the camera on Swiss television and on the online TV channel of 20 Minuten.
