Tina Rodriguez takes over as Chief Consumer Officer at Zattoo

The TV streaming provider Zattoo has a new executive: Tina Rodriguez will take on the role of Chief Consumer Officer in January 2026 and assume strategic and operational leadership of the direct-to-consumer business. She succeeds Constanze Gilles, who is leaving the company at the end of 2025 at her own request.

The Swiss TV streaming provider Zattoo is getting a new head of consumer business. Tina Rodriguez will take over the strategic and operational management of the direct-to-consumer business as Chief Consumer Officer from January 2026. Rodriguez will also be responsible for Corporate Communications. In her new role, she will be part of Zattoo's management team and report directly to CEO Roger Elsener.

Experienced manager from the entertainment industry

Rodriguez has extensive experience in the entertainment and telecommunications industry. She joins from Liberty Global, where she was most recently Vice President Customer Experience. Her most important professional positions include Vice President Entertainment and Senior Director Customer Engagement at Sunrise and UPC Switzerland, Director Entertainment Services at Liberty Global and Director Entertainment Products at Unity Media in Germany. The business economist will use her expertise together with the consumer team to further drive the positive growth of the consumer business. In particular, she will work closely with the Product & Technology, Content and Ads divisions.

Constanze Gilles has decided to leave Zattoo on December 31, 2025 to pursue new professional challenges. She has been responsible for the consumer business since June 2022 and additionally for Corporate Communications since mid-2025. She successfully launched new product innovations and sustainably strengthened the growth of Zattoo's customer business.

"After enriching years at Zattoo, I look back with pride on what we have achieved together: with new products, campaigns and strong partnerships and continuous optimizations for more efficiency, we have driven the growth of the consumer business. Many thanks to the entire team for their commitment and great team spirit and to the management for their trust and freedom. I am now looking forward to new challenges - and wish Zattoo continued success, courage and enthusiasm," explained Gilles.

Roger Elsener, CEO of Zattoo, regrets the departure: "The consumer business is one of the central strategic pillars of Zattoo. Manuel Egli, Director Direct-to-Consumer Switzerland, will report to Tina Rodriguez in future. Zattoo is one of the leading TV streaming providers in Europe with several million users per month.
