Thomas Huwiler leaves Ringier
Thomas Huwiler, Managing Director of Digital Business and a member of the Executive Board of Ringier Switzerland and Germany, has decided to leave the company due to organizational changes at Ringier.
Huwiler joined Ringier in 2007 as Head of Profit Center at Blick.ch and has been responsible for the newly created Digital Business division since 2009. Marc Walder, CEO Ringier AG: "I would like to thank Thomas Huwiler for his successful work in recent years. Ringier Switzerland's digital revenue has increased to 21 percent during this time."
Effective immediately, 46-year-old Thomas Kaiser, CEO of the Media Swiss Group, which belongs to Ringier, will additionally be appointed to the Executive Board of Ringier Switzerland and Germany. He will also take over Thomas Huwiler's board of directors mandates in the respective digital companies. Deployment opportunities within the Ringier Group are being examined for the employees of the Digital Business unit.
