Ticino TV presenter Matteo Pelli becomes director of Radio 3i

Ticino-based television host Matteo Pelli will be leaving RSI to join the private radio station 3i. He will head up Radio 3i and expand the station's collaboration with Corriere del Ticino.

Matteo Pelli will join the group in May 2013 and from September he is to take over the leadership of Radio 3i. This was announced by the Ticino radio and television RSI on Wednesday. The change is intended to expand the multimedia presence and strengthen the position with the younger audience.

Radio 3i is part of Tlmedia Holding, which is controlled by the publishing house of Corriere del Ticino. Matteo Pelli is to expand the dialogue with Corriere del Ticino readers from September onwards and take new initiatives in addition to the current "Duemila battute" column.

Matteo Pelli worked for Ticino television for around 15 years. He enjoys corresponding popularity in Italian-speaking Switzerland. As a novelist, he has already published 3 books.
