Teleboy: Change in the management

The management of Teleboy is being restaffed. Karim Zekri, CEO and co-founder of Teleboy, is stepping down as Managing Director. His successor will be Walter Zollinger, current COO of Tom Talent Holding, which is the main shareholder of Teleboy.

Walter Zollinger will continue the successful work of his predecessor and contribute new ideas and impulses to further expand the positioning of Teleboy, according to a press release. Karim Zekri will remain a member of the Board of Directors and retain his stake in the company. Karim Zekri, CEO and co-founder of Teleboy, is handing over the management of the company to Walter Zollinger. Over the past four years, Karim Zekri and his team have built Teleboy into one of the leading Internet TV providers in Switzerland. Under his leadership, for example, the company launched the first legal online video recorder for time-shifted television and the first free app for live TV on smartphones and tablets.

Karim Zekri will remain a member of the Board of Directors and retain his stake in the company. In addition to his strategic tasks, he will concentrate on his own projects in future.

Before joining Tom Talent, Walter Zollinger successfully built up two companies as an entrepreneur in the IT/e-procurement and fashion/lifestyle sectors. Before that, he studied business and production sciences at ETH Zurich. After his studies, he worked in various corporate functions in the area of business development.
