Teleboy and Wilmaa establish joint operating company
To leverage synergies and reduce costs, the two Internet TV platforms, Wilmaa and Teleboy, are establishing a joint operating company under the name «ITV Betriebsgesellschaft GmbH.».
This is responsible for the technical operation (headend) and signal distribution, as the two Internet TV platforms announced on Thursday. The company is also examining whether synergies can arise in the further development of the platforms and will also coordinate genre marketing for Internet TV. Both partners each hold a 50 percent stake in the company.
The operational services are also available to interested companies.
The two brands Teleboy and Wilmaa continue to operate independently and as competitors in the market.
