Teleboy Awards: The winners

The winners of the Teleboy Awards have been announced: The winners are Nik Hartmann, Viktor Giacobbo and Mike Müller, the big loser is Roger Schawinski.

Viktor Giacobbo and Mike Müller were voted the winners by a large margin in the "Best TV duo" category. As a prize, the satirists received a sponsorship for a monkey (the Teleboy logo animal), which was presented to them at Zurich Zoo. Nik Hartmann won the "TV Favorite" category ahead of Sven Epiney and Rainer M. Salzgeber. This is the second time Hartmann has won a Teleboy Award since 2009. The audience also voted for the "Best Political Program" in the election year - the long-running hit "Arena" won the race, while Roger Schawinski's new talk show only came in fourth place. Only "Polimag" with ex-Miss Linda Fäh and "Filippos Politarena" fared worse. And in the "Most superfluous new show" category, Roger Schawinski suffered another setback: his talk show came in second place. Viewers only found the docusoap "Mama ich bin schwanger" on 3+ even more superfluous.

The "TV duo", who finished in last place, received their own category: their Tatort episode "Wunschdenken" took first place in the "Best Swiss Tatort Episode 2011" category. However, this is not a surprise: after all, the episode was the only Swiss Tatort contribution to date since SF's much-heralded return to the crime series. "Wunschdenken" was therefore also the only nominee in this category.

At the Teleboy Awards, users of Switzerland's largest online TV platform voted for the TV highlights of the past year. The voting was presented by Melectronics.
