Tele Züri launches "Apartment 6

Open, direct and from real life: In the new talk show "Apartment 6" on TeleZüri, host Dominik Widmer and Blick sex advisor Caroline Fux talk about what really moves the Swiss about sex - or not.

Once a month, the two make themselves comfortable in their TV flat-sharing community and discuss sex, eroticism and relationships in a way that is usually only done by good friends. The only difference is that psychologist Caroline Fux is a real expert who puts her feet up on the coffee table, and flatmate Widmer joins in the discussion as a moderator. How much sex does a relationship need? Does pornography harm the relationship or is it perhaps even an enrichment?

"Sex has a very high status in the media today," explains Blick sex consultant Caroline Fux. "The problem with this is that it's lied about and embellished to the point where the beams bend." The fact that real sex isn't always just beautiful, "casual" and tingling is something that advertising likes to keep quiet about. At the same time, most people are afraid to ask for advice when questions or problems arise in their private lives because their own sexuality can't keep up with the "turbo sexuality" in the media. This is exactly where the new sex talk show "Apartment 6" on TeleZüri comes in: Up close, honest and with a lot of humor, Dominik Widmer and Caroline Fux want to make "real" sex a topic. "I've probably rarely discussed sex with a woman as much as I will now on "Apartment 6," explains Widmer, who is looking forward to his new role.

Fux has been in charge of sex counseling at Blick for almost three years. The psychologist is co-author of the two books "Good Sex" and "What Makes Couples Strong. For the "Ufsteller" presenter from Radio24, this is a TV premiere on Tele Züri. In addition to his radio work and various event moderations, the ethnology graduate stages plays and is also on stage himself. Karin El Mais, Produzenting, is responsible for the concept and production.

Apartment 6" is not primarily about education for adults, but rather about sexual education that makes you want to be there. Is the open relationship the relationship model of the future or the end of all intimacy? How do long-term couples keep their love fresh and their sex tingly? Questions like these are now the topic of the new TV-WG on Tele Züri.
