Tamedia: Serge Reymond is now also Head of Media German-speaking Switzerland
Tamedia is arranging the succession of the designated Chief Executive Officer Christoph Tonini. As of January 1, 2012, Serge Reymond will also assume responsibility for the Media German-speaking Switzerland division.
The Media German-speaking Switzerland division includes Tamedia's magazines, Finanz und Wirtschaft and the Sonntagszeitung. The 48-year-old Serge Reymond (pictured above) has been Managing Director of Edipresse Suisse since 2009 and a member of Tamedia's Management Board in this role since May 2011. Over the past two years, he has played a key role in the successful merger of the two companies in Switzerland. The Digital & 20 Minuten division will remain under the direct responsibility of Christoph Tonini, who will take over as CEO from Martin Kall in 2013, until further notice.
Under the leadership of Serge Reymond, teams from the two divisions, which will continue to be organized independently, will deepen and implement the projects already developed for new media offerings. In addition, the exchange of experience between Edipresse Suisse and Medien Deutschschweiz will be expanded across language borders.
