Tages-Anzeiger launches the "World Theater" blog
Tages-Anzeiger launched the new Auslandblog on Sunday. Welttheater appears twice a week and draws on well-known authors.
In addition to Martin Kilian, Tages-Anzeiger correspondent from Washington, who blogs every Sunday, many other Tages-Anzeiger foreign journalists such as Sandro Benini (Mexico City), Oliver Meiler (Barcelona) or Birgit Schönau (Rome) write from different parts of the world. They focus their attention on the bizarre, the remarkable and the everyday, report on their research, on meetings with exciting people or give an insight into their daily work. But also the well-known and popular "Little Story" finds a new place in the blog World Theater.

"The 'Tages-Anzeiger' has numerous excellent correspondents all over the world who report daily on relevant events in their regions. They write about politics, their backgrounds and social changes," explains Gabriela Braun, blog manager. "In the blog, on the other hand, our correspondents write about other topics such as: personal experiences, nuances or snippets. They are also in direct contact with our readers. The blog offers them a multimedia platform for this." Some blog contributions are also printed in the "Tages-Anzeiger" on page 2 under the heading "Best of Blogs".
Welttheater appears every Sunday and Thursday on Tagesanzeiger.ch.
