SWISS1 Schwinget: Wrestling kings and queens join the team of experts
SWISS1 is expanding its live broadcasts of wrestling competitions in 2025. Sonia Kälin and Kilian Wenger join the "SWISS1 Schwinget" team of experts and share their insights from the world of wrestling.

SWISS1 is relying on a top-class team of experts for the "SWISS1 Schwinget" in summer 2025: In addition to wrestling king Nöldi Forrer, four-time wrestling queen Sonia Kälin and wrestling king Kilian Wenger will be joining the live broadcasts. They will take it in turns to share their expertise, personal insights and passion for the sport of wrestling with viewers.
"With Nöldi Forrer, Sonia Kälin and Kilian Wenger, we are proud to have three important figures from the world of wrestling on board. Their expertise and passion for this sport enrich our live broadcasts in a unique way," explains Toni Krebs, Managing Director of SWISS1.
Kilian Wenger, who won the title of wrestling king at ESAF 2010, ended his active career in summer 2024 and is now bringing his experience to the camera. Sonia Kälin, who made her mark on women's wrestling as four-time wrestling queen, will also be part of the show for the first time. Nöldi Forrer, record-breaking wrestler and wrestling king, will remain an integral part of the team in 2025.
More live broadcasts for wrestling fans
With "SWISS1 Schwinget", the station will continue to offer comprehensive live broadcasts of Switzerland's most beautiful wrestling festivals in 2025. Following the success of last season, the program will be further expanded: Various festivals will be broadcast live and in full length, supplemented by insights away from the sawdust ring. As usual, Lynn Grütter and Linda Gwerder will present the program.
The exact broadcast dates will be announced in spring 2025. SWISS1 is once again setting an example for the appreciation and promotion of wrestling - live, emotionally and competently accompanied by a royal team of experts.
