Südostschweiz corrects relaunch

The daily newspaper *Südostschweiz*, which underwent a redesign and content refresh a year ago, is making adjustments to its comprehensive relaunch. Readers can now look forward to increased local coverage in the first edition of the newspaper.

The new layout introduced a year ago was quickly well received, "but our emphasis on content was not," writes Südostschweiz editor-in-chief Martina Fehr on the front page of the paper on Monday. It was time to change that. The desire for more regional stories was omnipresent. The editor-in-chief wants to meet this need with immediate effect. Regional stories are to be given more space. In addition, the entire first newspaper bundle will become a regional section. Regional stories are also to stand out in the reporting from the Federal Parliament. According to the editor-in-chief, the paper is relying on a regional editor who "closely accompanies our parliamentarians in Bern and classifies, analyzes and comments on political decisions from a Graubünden perspective."
