SRG and Swiss-Ski extend
Swiss-Ski and SRG have extended their long-standing partnership in the field of snow sports by six seasons.

In cooperation with Swiss-Ski and the World Cup organizers, SRG will produce the TV signal of all FIS Alpine, cross-country and ski jumping events in Switzerland for the whole world and broadcast it on its channels and platforms.
SRG has concluded an agreement with the Swiss Ski Association Swiss-Ski for all FIS events in Switzerland. This includes competitions in alpine skiing, ski jumping, cross-country skiing including the Tour de Ski, snowboarding and freestyle/skicross. The contract covers the production of the international TV signal, which SRG will continue to produce in the same quality as before. SRG has also secured all broadcasting rights for the territory of Switzerland (including the Principality of Liechtenstein) and will provide comprehensive coverage of the events in Switzerland on its channels and platforms (TV, radio, online/mobile). The corresponding agreement is valid until 2021/22.
Swiss-Ski President Urs Lehmann is delighted about the continued collaboration: "The broadcasts are always the best advertisement for Swiss-Ski and its long-standing organizers, as well as for Switzerland as a winter sports location."
International FIS events on SRG channels until 2020/21
SRG has acquired the rights to international FIS events outside Switzerland from Infront. The agreement covers competitions in alpine skiing, ski jumping including the Four Hills Tournament and ski flying, cross-country skiing including the Tour de Ski, Nordic combined, snowboarding and freestyle/skicross. SRG and Infront have agreed on a contract for five seasons from 2016/17 to 2020/21. SRG can continue to provide comprehensive coverage of all events abroad on its channels and platforms. SRG has secured the broadcasting rights to the events in Austria that are not marketed by Infront via the EBU.
In addition, Infront and SRG have agreed on the award of exclusive rights for Switzerland to the Alpine and Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 (Are and Seefeld) and 2021 (Cortina d'Ampezzo and Oberstdorf) as well as the Snowboard/Freestyle World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada. SRG will also acquire comprehensive rights for TV, radio and online/mobile for these events.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms.
