Seven VJs successfully complete RSS and MAZ training course

In the 33-day course, conducted by MAZ Lucerne and RSS Medienschule St. Gallen, seven VJs acquired comprehensive skills and have now completed the course with an examination.

Their job is highly demanding: They have to master the journalistic craft, be technically adept - and act with psychological sensitivity in tricky situations. The courses covered the principles of visual language, media law and ethical issues, basic knowledge of politics, business and justice, attractive storytelling and working in multimedia contexts. The course is subsidized by Bakom and is aimed exclusively at VJs who work at licensed private TV stations. The registration deadline for the next course is September 15, 2017.

The graduates (names of the broadcasters in parentheses): Matthias Kempf (Telebasel), Werner Kurmann (Tele1), Tobias Lenherr (TVO), Dominik Meienberg (TeleBärn), Anja Muster (TeleBielingue), Sabine Steiner (Kanal9), Sarah Wagner (Tele M1).
