See Tickets acquires Starticket from TX Group
See Tickets, one of the leading players in the global ticketing market, acquires the Swiss ticket marketer Starticket from TX Group.
Starticket is one of the leading ticket marketers in Switzerland, selling over 5 million tickets annually. With this acquisition, See Tickets sells almost 30 million tickets annually from around 10,000 show and event promoters in nine European countries and the USA.
The acquisition by See Tickets will enable Starticket and its event partners to meet the challenges of rapid technological change in an increasingly competitive environment, according to a statement on Thursday. With this step, See Tickets expands into another important European market and expands its presence in the German and French-speaking regions.
