Schaffhausen magazine appears with new concept

Starting with the next issue, the Schaffhausen magazine will feature new content and a revamped layout. Its distribution will also be expanded: The magazine will now be published as a supplement to the Schaffhauser Nachrichten.

For more than 85 years, Schaffhauser Magazin has been dedicated to current affairs in the Schaffhausen region, capturing what is important beyond the day. The magazine, which appears four times a year and is published by Schaffhauser Magazin, a subsidiary of the media company Meier + Cie Schaffhausen, has now been given a new look.

One focus topic each

The content of the Schaffhausen magazine has also been revised: Current topics from society and culture are given more weight. In-depth reports highlight one main topic at a time and provide insights into life in today's Schaffhausen. With the upcoming Edition "In the hospital for example, the magazine's editorial team takes a look behind the scenes at Schaffhausen Cantonal Hospital and documents everyday life at the hospital from different perspectives.

Now also appears as a supplement to the Schaffhauser Nachrichten newspaper

The form of distribution is also new: The magazine will be published for the first time on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in a print run of 22,500 copies as a supplement to the Schaffhauser Nachrichten, thus reaching a significantly increased readership. The magazine will also continue to be available separately by subscription or as a single issue from newsstands and bookstores.
