Sat.1 Switzerland: New travel magazine with Tanja Gutmann
In the new Sat.1 travel magazine «Die Holiday-Checker – Der grosse Ferientest,» Tanja Gutmann will be reviewing travel destinations around the world starting in January 2012, together with travel expert Nina Heinemann.
On behalf of TV viewers, the two presenters embark on planned and unplanned vacation adventures in Thailand, Egypt and the Canary Islands, for example, as Sat.1 Switzerland wrote in a statement on Monday. The pair of presenters also regularly visit Swiss people who live and work in the destinations. Gutmann and Heinemann thereby test and evaluate vacation offers that can be realized with any average travel budget. Luxury hotels and prohibitively expensive extravagances are the exception on the trips.
"The Holiday Checkers" is a Faro TV production. The season, which starts on January 6, 2012, comprises ten episodes.
