Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland again certified for equal pay

Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland have been awarded the «Fair-On-Pay+» certificate for another two years following an external analysis.

It had already been confirmed in 2020 that Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland would are fair employers who adhere to the principle of equal pay - now the two companies will receive the equal pay certificate for another two years. As part of their diversity and inclusion strategy, the companies wanted to demonstrably maintain company pay equality, although this would not be required by law. The analysis was conducted by the human resources consulting firm Comp-On AG.ch in accordance with federal legal requirements. The Fair-On-Pay+ certificate of both companies will be issued until 2024 for compliance and maintenance of company pay equality. "We consider fair and gender-independent pay to be a mandatory requirement in order to remain attractive as an employer in the market," says Christoph Haldi, Chief People Officer Ringier AG.

Certificate for gender equality

In addition to the Fair-On-Pay+ certificate, Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland received EDGE certification in June 2022. EDGE stands for 'Economic Dividends for Gender Equality' and is a global certification standard for assessing equal opportunities in companies. The certification measures and evaluates companies in various areas such as recruitment, flexible working models, parental leave, and management's strategic prioritization of gender-related issues.
