Ringier Sports Media buys Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola
Last week, the media had reported on the purchase negotiations. Now the takeover of A Bola by Ringier is official.
The Ringier media group has bought a Portuguese sports newspaper rich in tradition. The Ringier subsidiary Sports Media Group RSMG and the Portuguese owner Vicontrol SGPS S.A. would have signed a corresponding agreement for the purchase of A Bola (newspaper, digital and TV) and the magazine AutoFoco Ringier announced on Tuesday.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the next few weeks. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price or the valuation of the acquired parts of the company. (SDA)
