Ringier Publishing now with centralized marketing
Ringier Publishing will market its online and print products centrally from May 1, 2013. Thomas Passen, Head of Sales and Marketing, will head the newly created Ringier Publishing Media sales department.
Following the merger of the organization of the magazine advertising markets in German-speaking and western Switzerland in September 2012, the next step will be to centralize the marketing of magazines and the Blick Group as of 1 May 2013. The new sales organization under the name Ringier Publishing Media is structured according to daily media, luxury and consumer press, nature and yellow, digital and international. Ringier announced this in a press release on Thursday. Thomas Passen, Head of Sales and Marketing, will head the new organization. Urs Heller, Managing Director of Ringier Magazines, will also act as deputy to Florian Fels, CEO Publishing at Ringier.
As part of this reorganization, customers will also have access to Atelier Ringier, which bundles the advertising possibilities of Ringier platforms and products into individual offers, according to Ringier. The reorganization has no immediate personnel consequences.
