Ringier Print now with climate-neutral newspaper production

Ringier Print is taking part in the Myclimate program for climate protection. This means that customers can now print their newspaper products in a climate-neutral way.

If a Ringier print customer opts for CO2 compensation, a sum of money is calculated based on the greenhouse gas emissions caused, as Ringier writes in a press release on Thursday. This money flows via Myclimate into climate protection projects that the customer can choose themselves and that promote renewable energies or energy efficiency. This means that the amount of climate-impacting gases produced is saved elsewhere. According to Ringier, it is the first newspaper printing company in Switzerland to participate in the Myclimate program.
