Ringier launches "Green Circle" sustainability initiative

With "Green Circle", Ringier is bundling the topic of sustainability and wants to make it even more visible. To this end, the media and technology company is using its publishing titles and creating an online platform as well as its own distribution concept.

Because more needs to be done for a green future, Ringier has launched "Green Circle". The initiative aims to provide a larger platform for the topic of sustainability.

The company has been active in the area of sustainability in its brands and online channels for more than ten years and has already made a name for itself with titles such as SI Green and View Green has already contributed to the public discussion of topics such as climate and environmental protection. On Sunday, the first Green Circle Magazine as a supplement in the SonntagsBlick.

With the Internet platform Greencircle.ch this commitment will now be further expanded, as detailed in a press release. The website is intended to connect business, science and NGOs with users and contribute to the common goal of finding sustainable solutions for the future, fostering exchange and providing prominent information about innovations.

To this end, "Green Circle" draws on the diverse brands and titles of Ringier Media Switzerland to set topics, build a community and stimulate discussion. This goal is flanked by a smart content and distribution concept across all digital, social media and print channels to give sustainability even more relevance, reach and power. At the same time, five percent of advertising revenue goes towards specific sustainable projects.
