Ringier launches Landliebe TV and Landliebe Radio

The hit show "Schweizer Landliebe" is expanding into new media: "Landliebe TV" will launch on Sat.1 Switzerland on Sunday, March 2, 2014. "Landliebe Radio" will go on the air as early as Monday, December 2, 2013.

Schweizer Landliebe is a success story with rising circulation and sales figures. According to the press release, the magazine is decelerating, romantic, generous - and very Swiss. The same goes for LandLiebe TV. It is filmed against a backdrop of beautiful Swiss landscapes. The top themes from print form the backbone of the stories - feel-good documentary reports as a "window" into our homeland. Landliebe TV has the courage to be slow. People will be at the center of all content. The format will be broadcast every Sunday at 8 p.m. on Sat.1 Switzerland. Twelve shows, each twelve minutes long, are planned for the first season. The repeat will appear on the Saturday of the following week, also at 8 pm.

Landliebe Radio also focuses on tradition, wants to convey well-being and be a place of retreat in a hectic everyday world. The music program allows for a wide range: French- and Italian-language songs reflect the cultural diversity of Switzerland; the classical repertoire from Aretha Franklin to Eric Clapton to the Bee Gees combines organically with the timeless repertoire of today's artists such as Norah Jones or Adele. LandLiebe Radio can be heard on DAB+, online stream and via mobile app. The format is produced in close cooperation between the LandLiebe editorial team and Energy Switzerland. Michael Voss, COO of Ringier and Head of Ringier Entertainment: "We are delighted to further develop the Swiss Landliebe brand on two channels at once and to breathe movement and sound into it as a new TV and radio program."
