Ringier Axel Springer Serbia expands
Ringier Axel Springer Serbia has acquired Mojauto.rs, the country's second-largest online marketplace for automotive classifieds. In addition, Ringier Axel Springer Media's Serbian subsidiary had already acquired the Serbian subsidiary of Ringier's internet company, Media Swiss, in January 2012.
Media Swiss operates Nektretine.rs, one of Serbia's most visited real estate portals, according to a statement on Tuesday. The classified marketplace Mojauto.rs is the number two car portal in Serbia and also publishes a printed magazine. Mojauto.rs is to benefit in future from the experience of Ringier Axel Springer Media in the automotive sector, which among other things publishes the car magazine Auto Bild in various countries and operates the car portal Auto.cz in the Czech Republic.
The acquisition of Mojauto.rs is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
