Rhône Média acquires stake in Alpmedia
The Nouvelliste publisher Rhône Média buys into the Rhone Zeitung.
Rhône Média SA, the publisher of the
daily newspaper Le Nouvelliste from the Lower Valais, is taking part in a
third of Almedia AG. This company publishes the biweekly
free publication RhoneZeitung (RZ). The participation occurs
January 1, 2006 in force. As the publishers are active in neighboring areas
they are planning to utilize existing synergies in printing, sales and distribution,
marketing and editorial services. Rhône Média will take over the printing of RZ from Büchler Grafino in Berne at the beginning of 2006, and its subsidiary Messagerie du Rhône will be responsible for distribution in future.
