Raphaël Zwahlen takes over editorial management of Telebielingue
Effective September 1, 2021, Raphaël Zwahlen will take over as editor-in-chief of the regional TV station Telebielingue. The change is part of the reorganization of Gassmann Media’s editorial leadership.
Bilingual Raphaël Zwahlen studied journalism and organizational communication at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW in Winterthur, majoring in journalism. As part of this degree, he completed an Erasmus semester in Poland. After completing his bachelor's degree, he began his career at TeleBielingue in 2017.
Zwahlen has been working as a video journalist for TeleBielingue for four years. During this time, he also became producer of the programs "Info" and "Sport" as well as host of the discussion program "Duell". At the same time, Raphaël Zwahlen completed the VJ course at the MAZ in Lucerne and this year successfully completed the CAS Data Visualization at the HKB.
Raphaël Zwahlen says of his new job: "Strong, high-quality regional journalism is important for political, social and cultural life in the region. Bilingualism is of great importance here. I want to consciously cultivate this in order to strengthen the connection between the two language groups."
