Radio Top stops downward trend: strongest growth in the market
Radio Top has turned the tide. After nearly two decades of declining listener numbers, the Winterthur-based station now reaches 119,000 listeners daily. This represents a 78 percent increase over the previous year—the strongest growth in the regional radio market.

The new concept is based on a diverse music program spanning four decades with a focus on the 80s and 90s. The "Nonstop Topmix" provides uninterrupted music every second half hour from 09:30. Presenters will also be on air again at the weekend.
The strategy is paying off: Compared to the first half of 2025, Radio Top grew by a further 15%. The figures also show that the upward trend is continuing.
Stefano Bollmann, Program Director Radio Top: "When we went on air in April, I was honestly nervous. But even in the first week, we noticed that people were calling, writing to us and giving us feedback. This direct response from the region - that's priceless. People feel picked up again."
Following the successful relaunch of Radio Top, Top-Medien 2026 is also modernizing the TV channel Tele Top. New formats, a modern design and stronger integration of all channels are planned.
