Radio Schaffhuuse AI Radio: Read, watch—and now listen, too
With «Radio Schaffhuuse,» Bock Publishing is taking the next step into the world of digital media: Starting July 1, the AI-powered radio station will begin public testing as the official radio project of the online portal «Schaffhausen24.» This brings the publisher full circle—and for the people of the Schaffhausen region, the new motto is: Read (in the «Schaffhauser Bock»), watch (on «Schaffhausen24»)—and listen (via «Radio Schaffhuuse»).
The media landscape is becoming increasingly digital, and multimedia is considered indispensable in modern journalism. With the launch of its radio station, Bock Publishing is bringing all its channels together under the umbrella brand «shmedien.».
Editorial Content as a Cornerstone
The concept behind «Radio Schaffhuuse» is deliberately distinct from traditional radio. Although a lot of music is played, editorial content forms a central pillar of the programming. All content is intended to come directly from the «Schaffhausen24» online portal—consisting of journalistically written or verified articles by regional stakeholders, organizations, and municipalities. To ensure this timeliness, a dedicated newsroom was established and staffed back in April.
According to the project, it combines reliable local journalism with cutting-edge technology—in a relaxed, varied way that stays closely connected to the region.
DAB+ and Web Player: Radio Schaffhuuse AI Radio—Available Throughout the Coverage Area
The station can be received throughout Eastern Switzerland via DAB+ (Channel 5D). Just in time for the launch on July 1, the new website will also go live, featuring a web player: https://www.radio-sh.ch
