Radio Energy opens radio station in Lucerne
Central Switzerland is getting a new radio station: Energy Luzern. The private radio network will begin broadcasting from Lucerne in August. It is the fourth Energy station in German-speaking Switzerland, following Zurich, Bern, and Basel.
With the new Lucerne base, the Energy Group is expanding its national network and tapping into an important region, according to a statement issued by the group on Tuesday. The focus of the station in Central Switzerland is particularly on the Lucerne region.
Information, service, music and entertainment are offered. In addition to a suitable home in the city of Lucerne, the company is also looking for personnel for the Lucerne team. The first talks are underway. Energy Luzern will be able to benefit from the national network with the online portal.
In addition to Radio SRF's Regionaljournal, the private radio stations Central, Sunshine and Pilatus are also present in Central Switzerland. According to its own figures, Radio Energy reaches more than 730,000 listeners every day. (SDA)
