"pront." - New trade magazine strengthens communication with authorities

The magazine pront provides knowledge, inspiration, and tools to shape government communication, strengthen democratic participation, and foster trust in institutions.

The magazine "pront." is published twice a year and offers practical support for strategic communication and crisis communication in the public sector. It is aimed specifically at authorities and administrative units in order to sustainably promote dialog, participation and trust between the public and institutions. Readers benefit from best-practice examples, inspiring topics and directly implementable tools that are specifically tailored to the needs of public administrations. "pront." offers guidance on how public authorities can fulfill their duty to inform when traditional channels are becoming less important.

Declining news consumption weakens democratic participation

Our society is changing rapidly, and with it the way people consume information. In Switzerland, almost every second person now deliberately avoids news. This development poses major challenges for public administrations. "Declining news consumption weakens democratic participation and undermines trust in our institutions," says Daniel Camenisch, communications consultant and managing director of Vinavant AG - Agentur für Strategie und Kommunikation.

"At a time of increasing complexity and decreasing attention, we support authorities in finding new ways of communicating and providing effective information. Only those who are heard can make a difference," says Camenisch, publisher of the magazine.

The first issue of "pront." will be published in May and is all about effective, comprehensible and dialog-oriented communication with public authorities. The first magazine and all subsequent issues will be published on vinavant.ch/pront available for download.
