Planet 105: Almost everything becomes new
The start of phase two following Roger Schawinski's rescue of Radio 105: Sascha Wanner, a longtime Energy host, is moving to Planet 105. He will play a key role in the station's programming as the new host of the morning show.
Before joining Energy, 29-year-old Sascha Wanner worked at Radio 105 and Radio 24 for six years. Jan Müller will be leaving Planet 105 at the end of the year (Werbewoche.ch reported). Before that, he will accompany the relaunch of the station, which will be celebrated with a big DJ night on October 31, 2014.
Roger Schawinski: "Almost everything will be different for us now: new station name, new logo, new content, new broadcasting studio, new concepts with new voices. The name Planet 105 contains a promise that we want to keep. All of this should help us to further sharpen our profile. Planet 105 is the only Swiss station that consistently and uncompromisingly focuses on the best music of today for a predominantly younger audience. I look forward to implementing these concepts together with my team over the next few months."
