Petition submitted to save SRG radio studio in Bern
On Thursday, the CVP of the City of Bern submitted a petition to the SRG General Directorate calling for the radio studio to remain in Bern. About 2,000 signatures were collected within two weeks.

The signatures were received by Edi Estermann, head of the SRG media office at the headquarters of the general management in Bern, as the Bern CVP announced on Twitter. The petition was supported by the SP, GFL, Green Alliance, FDP and BDP parties in the city of Bern.
The affected employees are also opposing the planned relocation of the Bern radio studio to Zurich. The petition is "an important signal. We hope it will be heard", commented the "Pro Radiostudio Bern" working group on Twitter.
The staff called on the Board of Directors to reconsider the relocation plans on Tuesday. The letter was signed by over 160 employees. (SDA)
