Paywall: Blick Group launches Blick+ pay offer

With Blick+, the Blick Group is launching a digital subscription service that offers premium content for a fee. Subscribers can choose between several options. The offer is being promoted with a new campaign.

The Blick Group is introducing a paywall: With the new digital subscription called Blick+, Blick.ch users will have to pay for certain content as of today; in the first month, the offer is still free. There will be 200 exclusive articles and comprehensive advice and service articles per month, as well as background information, analyses and the sports team's own video series. Subscribers will also have access to extra content from Balance, Cash, Handelszeitung, Swiss Illustrated and Observer and the chance to enjoy discounts, events and tours of the Blick newsroom.

The premium content can be booked in three subscription options. Access to Blick+ is available for CHF 9.90/month. In combination with the Blick e-paper, access costs CHF 19.90/month, and with the printed SonntagsBlick CHF 24.90 per month. The digital subscription can be tested free of charge for one month as an introduction. Subscribers to the printed Blick or Blick e-paper (Monday to Saturday) also receive free access to Blick+ throughout their subscription period.

The launch of Blick+ will be accompanied by an advertising campaign. Under the slogan "Jetzt wird geplusst!" the new digital subscription offer of the Blick Group will be prominently advertised with different subjects and online banners in the coming weeks.
