Ostschweiz am Sonntag: Editor-in-chief found
Christian Ortner, Editor-in-Chief of Vorarlberger Nachrichten, is moving to the Sunday edition of St.Galler Tagblatt and its regional editions. The Ostschweiz am Sonntag newspaper will be published from March 2013.
Ortner will take over the editorial management of Ostschweiz am Sonntag as the paper's editor, according to a statement. Christian Ortner, 41, has been editor-in-chief of Vorarlberger Nachrichten for ten years, which was named "Newspaper of the Year" at the World Newspaper Publishers Congress in Moscow in 2006.
Koni Nordmann will be responsible for the visual appearance of the new newspaper. The 50-year-old, a photojournalist by training, has built up the press photography and picture editing courses at the Lucerne Media Training Center, among other things, and has advised various publishing houses on visual issues. In his function as chief reporter, David Schaffner is to set the tone in terms of content with research and reportage. David Schaffner, 37, is deputy head of department at the Tages-Anzeiger/Der Bund editorial office.
