OneLog Update: Login service available again

OneLog, the login tool used by Swiss media and publishing companies and a joint venture between CH Media, NZZ, Ringier, and TX Group, is available again.

Following a cyber sabotage, users can once again register for the joint login tool of several Swiss media and publishing houses: When registering for OneLog on the websites of the respective brands (e.g. Blick), users are automatically prompted to set a new password during the login process. The user then receives a password reset email from OneLog.

Caution still required

Beware of phishing: OneLog will not send such a request to users by email without the user actively initiating the login beforehand. This also applies to the individual media brands and other partners (e.g. JobCloud) that use OneLog.

As always, users should choose a unique, strong password for each application and service. This is the only way to ensure the security of other accounts even if a single password is compromised - for which OneLog still has no evidence. Instead, OneLog assumes an act of cyber sabotage; the investigation into the act of cyber sabotage is currently being continued with the involvement of the relevant authorities.
