NZZ switches to Jung von Matt/Limmat

The Zurich media division of the NZZ media group will be managed by the Zurich agency Jung von Matt / Limmat from 2012. The mandate covers the entire portfolio with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, NZZ am Sonntag, the magazine NZZ-Folio and the digital offerings.

Jung von Matt / Limmat replaces Publicis, which has been working for NZZ's printed and digital products since 1995 and created the multi-award-winning campaign with the blue pencil for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, among others. The agency was not chosen as part of a pitch process, but through targeted selection. The NZZ wrote this in a press release on Friday. "We decided to go down this path with a new agency due to the complete realignment of our communications," says Marius Hagger, Head of NZZ Publishing.
