NZZ launches new newsletter "The other view in the morning"
With «Der andere Blick am Morgen,» the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» is expanding its newsletter offerings for Germany. The commentary-based daily outlook will be published Monday through Thursday at 7 a.m., effective immediately.
The "Neue Zürcher Zeitung" is further expanding its offering for the German market. From December 2, 2024, the new morning newsletter "Der andere Blick am Morgen" will complement the existing offering and provide readers with an early morning outlook on current political developments and important topics of the day. With a civic-liberal view of events, the editorial team aims to provide orientation and classification.
"What is becoming important in Germany? And how do we categorize it? We want to answer these two questions," says Marc Felix Serrao, Editor-in-Chief of NZZ Germany. "There are many newsletters in the morning, but none with our bourgeois-liberal view of things."
The new format is published from Monday to Thursday and complements the previous newsletter "Der andere Blick", which will be published as "Der andere Blick am Abend" in future. The latter will continue to provide trenchant commentary on topics that move Germany. At the end of the week, Friday morning will be reserved for Editor-in-Chief Eric Gujer, who will comment on the political situation in Germany and around the world in "Der andere Blick".
Since its launch in 2017, "Der andere Blick" has made a significant contribution to the successful positioning of NZZ in the German market. With the addition of "Der andere Blick am Morgen", the NZZ is strengthening its presence and offering readers comprehensive support throughout the day.
The new newsletter can be subscribe free of charge. The first issue is available on the Website of the NZZ available.
