NZZ launches history magazine
The magazine NZZ Geschichte will be published for the first time in April 2015. It focuses on both international and Swiss history in all its various facets and its impact on our present.
The magazine will be the responsibility of Peer Teuwsen, head of new journalistic products at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, and the distinguished journalist and historian Martin Beglinger, who will move from the magazine to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung on February 1, according to a statement on Tuesday.
In addition, an advisory board of renowned Swiss historians supports the magazine. They are Irène Herrmann, professor of transnational Swiss history at the University of Geneva, André Holenstein, professor of older Swiss history and comparative regional history at the University of Bern, and Tobias Straumann, titular professor of economic history at the University of Zurich. NZZ Geschichte is published every three months.
